It amazes me that so many people pay for their cell phone service without checking to see what other options are available. I gave up my mobile phone years ago and since then, it’s become easier and easier not to pick one up again. I work online using a computer, and you can send and receive SMS online for free, plus, you can also make phone calls. Of course, not as many people talk on the phone anymore, they use text messaging to communicate.
If you can make the phone calls you need to make and send and receive SMS messages for free, then why would you want to even pay for this type of service? It makes no sense whatsoever if you ask me, but of course millennials need their phones for apps and other things. You would be surprised at the number of apps you can use on the computer without even needing a cell phone however, if you really don’t want to do without, it would pay to at least look into prepaid mobile phones.
If you need a mobile phone for emergencies, fine. Did you know that you can purchase a prepaid cell phone for under 20 bucks, a good one, and then get a small plan just to be able to make calls in case of an emergency? That’s the best way to do it if you ask me. Even Smartphones are much cheaper these days, unless of course you’re wanting to buy an iPhone or something similar.
Of course, if you are going to send and receive sms online for free, then you aren’t going to have the convenience of being able to do so whenever you want. Especially if you are out and about, you’re going to have to wait until you get back to your computer and a Wi-Fi signal. Still, would you rather have that enormous mobile phone bill at the end of the month just because you have to pay for convenience?
Do you still have a landline phone, too? You can allow modern technology to cost you extra, or you can use the little tips and tricks to help save you money. If you decide to look into sending text messages online for free, you’re going to be surprised at just how much money you can save. If you’re a businessperson, and you are wondering if you’d be able to take care of your text messages online for an SMS campaign, you can.
In fact, even if you paid for such a service, it would likely be easier to handle everything online vs. having that mobile phone. It’s an addiction I know, but do you really need it? Or, could you use a break? I needed a break myself, so I challenge you to look into the same steps I took to get rid of that cell phone.
It’s time to live a little. I still send texts and make phone calls, but I’m not attached to my Smartphone anymore, I do all of that for free and it’s quite easy. Are you ready to learn how you can do the same thing?
